Advanced Thyroid and Sex Hormones Check
Struggling with unexplained fatigue, weight changes, or low mood? Because thyroid and sex hormone symptoms often overlap, testing one without the other can leave you without answers. This profile investigates both simultaneously to help you find the true root cause.

Common questions
Everything you need to know before ordering your Advanced Thyroid and Sex Hormones Check.
What does this panel include?
This combined profile checks thyroid function (TSH, FT4, FT3) alongside key sex hormones. It is designed for people whose symptoms could be caused by either thyroid dysfunction or hormonal imbalance, helping distinguish between the two in a single blood draw.
Who should consider this test?
Anyone experiencing overlapping symptoms such as fatigue, weight changes, mood shifts, hair loss or reduced libido where the cause could be thyroid, hormonal or both. Particularly useful for women in perimenopause where thyroid and reproductive hormones can both be shifting.
When should I take this test?
Collect your sample between 6 and 10 AM for the most stable hormone readings. If you are still having periods, day 2 to 5 of your cycle is recommended. Avoid biotin supplements for 48 hours before testing.
Do I need to fast?
No fasting is required. Water is fine and encouraged for an easier blood draw.
How will I receive my results?
Secure online results with a GP-written explanation from Brooksby Medical in 2 to 3 working days.
